About Amy
Amy Hamby, LCSW
Helping you build healthier relationships—with others and with yourself.
If you’re here, chances are something in your life or relationship isn’t working the way you hoped. Maybe you and your partner keep having the same arguments, you’re navigating a difficult life transition, or you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I believe meaningful change begins when people feel truly seen, understood, and supported. My role isn’t to judge or tell you who’s right or wrong. It’s to help you understand the patterns that are keeping you stuck and give you practical tools to create lasting change.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in working with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, divorce, and personal growth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. Together, we’ll move beyond simply talking about problems and begin building healthier ways of communicating, connecting, and responding to life’s challenges.
Using Relational Life Therapy—an approach that blends compassion with accountability. While insight is important, I also believe therapy should lead to action. My goal is for you to leave each session with greater clarity, practical strategies, and hope that change is possible.
Whether you’re looking to strengthen your relationship, heal from past experiences, navigate a divorce with intention, or reconnect with yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
I know reaching out for therapy can feel like one of the hardest first steps. My hope is that from the moment we meet, you’ll feel heard, respected, and supported—and confident that meaningful change is possible.
I look forward to meeting you.
